We had a wonderful one-night stay at this adorable little beach house on the Intracoastal! The setting was peaceful and packed with fun amenities—pier, boat dock, fire pit, and a relaxing hot tub. The girls had a blast collecting shells, lounging on the float pad, and playing ping pong in the evening. Though our stay was short, we made the most of it and would absolutely stay again!

We had an amazing time at Jon & Misty’s Cedar Point home. My family and I loved being right in the water. The kayaks and paddle board rental is a must! The hot tub at night was so relaxing under the stars! And the master suite is huge! It was so nice to unwind after a day spent adventuring.

Great place to stay. The house was perfect for our families overnight trip to the beach. Will definitely come back when we have more time to spend on vacation.

This was the perfect place for our bachelor party. The fire pit and the jacuzzi were a big hit. I'd definitely stay here again. The host quickly responded to my questions as soon as I sent them and was super friendly.

Jonathan’s home is absolutely perfect! Amazing location right outside the beautiful town of Swansboro, location is top notch! Enjoy the sunset from the hot-tub, overlooking the sound or take a walk out on the dock just a few steps from your door. We even saw dolphins from the deck! The bed and bedding are super comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. Highly recommended booking with Jonathan, he was very responsive and a great host!

Wow!! This place was exactly what I was looking for. My husband had an appointment in the area and we decided to turn that trip into a little getaway. The location was perfect and the view was incredible. My husband is an amateur photographer and couldn’t believe the abundance of water fowl visible in the backyard. This was one of my favorite Airbnb’s that I have had the pleasure of staying in. The house was well-equipped with any and every thing you could possibly need. I would 1000% recommend this home to you, if you are looking, and no doubt that we will visit again.

Very happy with the house and amenities. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb that was so well stocked with everything I could possibly want. Everything worked well, was clean, and even tastefully decorated for the Christmas holiday. Right on the water. I’ll book again if back in the area.

Our stay in Cedar Point was so much fun! The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. The waterfront view from the living room was absolutely stunning! The cabin itself was impeccably clean and well-equipped. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We can't recommend this place enough!

Jonathan description of this place was correct. It is right off the main road. However the back yard amenities are great. You can walk right out to the dock and fish or just watch the boats go by. Our grandchildren caught several different kind. The fire pit was a great way to wind down relax snd enjoy the boats on the water and the stars. We grilled out both night. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. We had our adult children and five grandchildren from the ages of 3-9 and they loved it. I would recommend staying here. Very accommodating and easy to get ahold of if you had any questions.

I was a little surprised by the construction of the home, but I am an interior designer so I pay attention to the little details. They have done a great job at making this a very nice stay for guests. I was very pleased with my ability to relax and enjoy their offerings. They really went above and beyond my expectations. They were always very quick to respond and very kind. I will definitely stay here again when I want to enjoy the experience they provide!

Jonathan's place was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty of space and incredible views! Very boater-friendly as the put-in was just a few doors down from the house which made it so easy for us to get the boat set up for a weekend of fun! There was some weather during the first day of our stay, but it didnt stop us from fishing the dock and enjoying the hottub and other amenities. Jonathan was proactive and made sure we were set up with alternate parking if we needed it. The house is cute and tidy and smelled very nice! (Its the little things) We all had an amazing stay and enjoyed the slow mornings drinking coffee on the dock and being so close to the quaint town of Swansboro. We would 10/10 choose to stay here again!

This is a great stay for a weekend getaway with the family! They had a kiddie chair for my niece which came in handy at meal time. They also had some toys for my nieces and nephew to play with. Jonathan’s place is close to everything. If we had to go to the store there were plenty of options to choose from. This is a very peaceful location. We enjoyed watching the sunsets. If we come back to this area it would be a place we would consider staying in.

It is definitely a place that leaves you wanting to return, it is very calm and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets! Renting kayaks is a plus. It's truly incredible…. My kids loved this place, Jhonatan and Misty are one of the best hostess.

The host was very responsible and easily reachable. Jon and Misty stayed in touch throughout out stay and quick to help us resolve few issues that came along the way. At the first look from outside, the place was definitely not what we were expecting but once we walked in, it definitely felt home but much cleaner, haha.

Second time staying at one of Johnathan’s places! Always the best! The location is great, right on the water, and fenced in yard for the dog. A dock is right out front with a beautiful view. Restaurants and stores are close by! A short drive to Atlantic beach, Emerald Isle or morehead city to provide even more options! Everything was clean and ready for us. Check in and out was easy and Johnathan was always quick to respond to any messages! Can’t wait to come back!

We would book again! One of the best hosts we’ve had on Air BnB. A++ Great communication. Jon & Misty accommodated some very particular & unusual requests- well beyond our expectations! We were able to cook full meals in well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of bath linens. Air conditioner kept all areas at comfortable temps. Roomy enough for our fam of 15- but our time was mostly outside; on dock, in water, around fire pit. (We brought charcoal). The corner w/ swing chair, & toys was perfect for our toddlers. Older kids loved splash pad, crab cages, etc. As mentioned by host & in other reviews- bunkhouse is rustic. As warned, we had water on floor the morning after rain. Wise to keep items off floor. Bunkhouse shower more suitable for kids than adults. House was bright & inviting. J&M welcomed us w/ snacks (& juice boxes for kiddos) - such a warm welcome! Location was PERFECT, Would love to return!

We were never bored! Kayaking to the island, fishing, hot tubbing, grilling, swimming. It was awesome.

We took our homeschool co-op here and the kids had a blast. We swam on the dock and saw beautiful sea life around us. What an amazing experience! So many toys and things for the kids to do in this home. Super friendly hosts, responded very quickly. We will be back!

The place was perfect for a family get together

This was my first time using Airbnb but I must say everything was perfect, the space, the cleanliness, the views, and Jonathan and misty were very great hosts. I could not ask for a better experience.

Johnathan was a great host and always available to answer any questions that we had!

The house was in the perfect location, loved being on the water! We were able to walk to the farmers markets, and the Marina. We enjoyed fresh seafood and exploring nearby Swansboro. We enjoyed having fires in the fire pit while watching the sunsets, sitting in the hot tub with the ambient lighting. The older kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the bunk house. The toddlers loved the toys, and there were plenty of beds for our group of 11. We didn’t even notice the sound of traffic because we were too busy having fun! We really loved all of the smart TVs throughout the house, the washer and dryer, and the dishwasher! Jonathon was super responsive to anything we needed. He is an excellent host!

We had a lovely overnight stay! The coffee bar in the master bedroom was a huge bonus. We enjoyed the view, the hot tub, & the well stocked kitchen. Good place for a good time

Beautiful location. Prefect spot for a peaceful get away. There’s also many restaurants near by & the beach is a 6 minute drive. This place was great & the communication with the host was prefect.

Simply amazing place. The host were quite quick to respond to all of our questions. We pulled up to island music playing and snacks for our family on the island. They have all the spices needed to cook, bake and make coffee. This home is delightful, the bunk house offered us all a nice place to play together. The dock was peaceful the hot tub really allowed us to have some down time. The host thought of it all. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

The location is great for going to Swansboro or to the beach and the house is cute. The dock is perfect for fishing. It was a perfect place to celebrate my mom’s birthday with the family. Owners are extremely communicative and helpful. Highway noise can be a lot in the morning, so take earplugs if you’re a late sleeper, but I will definitely be returning.

We throughly enjoyed this place. My coworkers and I made a fishing trip down and his house not only had plenty of room to accommodate the amount of people, but, it also had plenty of amenities there, a dock for us to fish off, and was just a few houses down from the boat launch which was extremely convenient. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay again.

Loved having a cottage that was by the water and most importantly, dog friendly. Johnathan was responsive and gave us a warm welcome. While it was a short stay while there for a weekend wedding, we did make time to see the sun set and rise with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the hot tub.

Highly recommend staying here if you need a get away! Right off of the highway, but once you pull into the driveway it's a little piece of paradise! Clean, spacious and loved the separate bunk house feature for our older boys to stay in and watch movies on the projector! Plenty to do close by, but once you arrive you don't want to leave! The hot tub was great and the kids enjoyed doing s'mores in the fire pit. Stocked kitchen and clean linens!

Our whole stay was absolutely amazing! This trip was a family vacation to celebrate our best friends retirement and a post-marathon vacation for myself as I just ran the marine corps marathon prior to our trip down to NC. We wanted a relaxing stay close to our friends who live in Swansboro. The property was just what we needed and expected! The toys, games, snacks and more were such a fun bonus for my three little kids who absolutely never wanted to leave! I felt safe running alone on the sidewalks near by and views, peace & serenity the property offered were amazing 🙌🏼. I loved the view from the master bedroom and the little sitting area & private coffee bar area too! Everything was clean and cozy! Thank you for a great stay! We will be back!

The stay was fantastic. Easy access to the water for kayaking and other water sports. Hot tub was fantastic. Host communicated well and was very easy to reach.

The views all day are breathtaking. We loved our stay here. Jonathan was fast to respond when questions were asked. The space was beautiful. Every amenity you could think of, they had. They even had cookies on a platter for us. Definitely will recommend this place. If you are indecisive between this place and another, Go with this place. You will not be disappointed.

This was a very nice place to stay in a small town right on the water. Swansboro is literally a stones throw away and Emerald Isle is probably 5-10 minutes max. The house is very nice and easily accessible from the road. There are great places to eat close by. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous sunset views over the water from the hot tub! The perfect place for my team and I to wind down after the Tuna Relay. Nice location right on the water, easy to get in, clean, plenty of places to sleep. Highly recommend!

My husband and boys went glamping on the shack on the island across the waterway. This house was perfect for paddling back for supplies and dropping off kids who couldn’t hang the whole time. The house had toys for kids which was a nice surprise. The house did show some wear - but not enough for it to be a problem. The property owner addressed any issues (or potential ones) promptly and was fantastic about communicating. Bring a sound machine bc it is right off the highway and is noticeably loud at night. The hot tub was clean; and the guidelines made me feel safe about using it.

The house is conveniently located between the beaches and the mainland wedding activities we needed to attend. Morning coffee and evening sunsets on the dock did not disappoint. We even watched dolphins on two separate occasions. We made good use of the kitchen—it had all the supplies we needed. Plenty of seating. The bunkhouse beds are more appropriate for kids. The young adult couple in our group slept there, but I am not sure they were very comfortable. We were a group of 8–more would have been a very tight squeeze. Overall, a great weekend stay.

We had a great time. We have 4 kids under 7 and they all enjoyed the dock and the house. It is a small beach house but the location is awesome. We caught tons of fish, swam, and hung at the beach. There is a fence in the backyard that you can put a kayak in front of to block kids from going on the dock unsupervised. They left some kids toys and a booster chair for us which was clutch. Great place and the owners were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything

Can’t say enough great things about this place and the hosts. The rental has anything possible you could need! We came with our family of 11, 5 of those were young kids. They have so much to keep the kids busy, a ping pong table, lots of toys and games and they absolutely loved the huge floating mat and the hot tub. We had fun paddle boarding, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, swimming and taking a boat to shark tooth island where we found 6 sharks teeth! It’s in a great location close to food and close to the beach. Jonathan was so helpful and responsive, we had the perfect stay!

It was a wonderful spot for quick access to the beach and breath taking sunset/sunrise views! Also had great living spaces to hang out as we had a wknd trip with our church small group! It also was super handy place since we had a boat! Super sweet hosts! Had lemonade and cookies waiting for us as well as nice little touches for our young son! The master was amazing!

Jonathans place is perfect for a family vacation. It is well laid out with a primary bedroom for parents or one couple and two smaller bedrooms for kids or another couple. Their place is just over 10 minutes away from Emerald Isle and the Atlantic Ocean and there are numerous sweet little restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

We had a wonderful stay! Jonathan was very responsive, helpful, and kind. They had all the amenities you could hope for and more - especially if traveling with children which is a huge plus!! Snacks, games, and so much more are provided for a fun and comfortable stay. The only downfall would be the road noise - BUT they did provide a sound machine to help. Which again is a huge help with kiddos. We had 2 families staying in our party but this place would be great for people looking to have a fun vacation spot too. There’s so much to do at the house which is something to think about when the weather in NC can be unpredictable 😂 we loved our stay and would definitely recommend the house to others. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location - close to Swansboro & Emerald Isle. The home was comfortable & clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, pier & outside sitting area. Very much worth the money. Our dogs loved it, & I loved how there were not a ton of steps for my older dog to have to contend with whenever she went out. The parking area was very nice. We would be happy to go back with more family now.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The place was clean and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Jon provided us local recommendations for food and activities which was great. The house is right on the water and it was absolutely wonderful to sit on the dock in the morning with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend and we hope to come back!

My family and I chose Jonathan’s place as our first Christmas trip away from home and it certainly did not disappoint. The home was very clean and exactly as described. It felt like home away from home, especially with the cute Christmas tree. We put our presents under the tree and it truly felt like Christmas. The view of the water in the backyard is incredible. Our first morning there, we saw dolphins from the master bedroom window and rushed to the end of the dock to watch them. That was such a pleasant surprise! We brought our two goldendoodles and they also seemed to feel right at home. They loved going out on the dock, and the backyard was the perfect space for them to stretch their legs. I can’t say enough how nice and peaceful this place was. We got some much needed rest and relaxation with family. I will also add that the hot chocolate and coffee provided was delightful. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely be staying here again!

This was a beautiful little place right on the inter costal waterway. It was very peaceful and perfect for a family vacation! Right in between two great cities with great places to shop/eat. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

This place is a great find. There are lots of amenities for a family to enjoy on the property and it’s also close to the beach and restaurants. We especially loved the openness of the living room and nice spacious and well stocked kitchen. We loved the bonus room and the game/toy cabinet. The master bedroom is heavenly!! Incredibly peaceful and super cozy. Perfect for what we needed!!

Such a nice place to stay for a girls' weekend. Beautiful sunsets, great dock, loved watching the boats go by. Great hot tub. Well appointed home. The coffee bar in the master was great for early risers.

Had an amazing stay. Everything was neatly organized and easy to locate. Location was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks. Our dog loved running up and down the dock. Hot tub was also a really nice wind-down activity for the end of the day. 10/10

If you have a boat, a kayak, and a dog, this is the place to be. Jonathan’s Airbnb is ideal and he is beyond helpful. The listing’s pictures perfectly portray every feature available. An abundance of bath towels, beach towels, throw blankets are provided. We enjoyed the dock, the hot tub, the fire pit, and more. Ample parking is available for several vehicles. The public ramp to put boats in the water is only 100 yards away. We hope to return to this Airbnb sooner than later. 👍🏻

Our group of adults (3 couples and 2 guys) loved everything about the house. You can tell it is very well maintained and they have done an amazing job of decorating to give you a beachy vibe. The hot tub and dock were the standout attractions for our group. We saw so many dolphins on the dock and even from the living room while lounging on a super comfy couch. The coffee nook in the master was a fantastic touch and well stocked w tea and Kcups. Kitchen and laundry room had all the necessities (detergents, soap, paper towels). Would love to come back in the summer to go swimming off the dock and is a very easy drive to the beach and restaurants.

Cutest little cottages!! I stayed in both of their properties in Cedar Point, NC. Beautifully decorated and both have everything you need for a great stay! Hosts are the most amazing, thoughtful, communicative people!! I would highly recommend their properties!!!

This house was the most convenient, hospitable, and accommodating in all of cedar point! The hosts are fast to respond, the house decor is cute, and the cleanliness was perfect. Both the grooms and groomsman for our weekend absolutely loved the house. The views and experiences this house offered us will never be forgotten! Check-in was great and everything was clean. Pretty close drive to pier and beaches. Backyard is great and pictures don't do it justice. We will rent again when we visit Emerald Isle again.

This house was so cute and magical for our family! Very clean and comfortable on the inside. We had a blast playing on the dock and jumping in the water :) Hot tub was so relaxing and we got to watch a beautiful sunset on the dock with our family. Kids had a blast swimming and catching little crabs. Very close to the beach and shopping. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our second time being hosted by Jonathan at their second home and we are super happy. The home is super cozy, clean, organized, it has all the amenities you can think of, waterfront is always a plus. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, and getting to see the sunsets and sunrise. Definitely a place we will always keep in mind to come back to!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. The home was very clean, and bright. Jon was very friendly and easy to communicate with. My family had a great time staying here.

I brought a boat (19 foot Tidewater bay boat) and kept it on the lift at the pier. The public landing was 100 yards down the road so I unloaded it there but were able to keep the boat docked at the pier. We traveled out everyday to the sandbars during low tide. It was like having a private beach. We caught many fish off the pier as well. They allowed pets, which is nice. I took my golden retriever with me. The place was spotless and they were very accomplished. The hot tub, fire pit, and grill were used regularly and were great additions. Great stay!

My husband and 12 of our relatives stayed here for their annual Father's Day fishing trip. The home is well decorated, clean, spacious, and in a great location (not too far from a Walmart ). Ample parking and plenty of amenities. Communication with Jon and Misty was EXCELLENT! They are friendly and thoughtful hosts (the gift basket was a sweet surprise). Thank you!!

I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars. The house is incredible - very spacious, clean & beautifully decorated. Also the view of the water is breathtaking. We had so much fun fishing off the dock & watching the sunset while relaxing in the hot tub. This place is right down the street from the beach and in close proximity to other stores/ restaurants. The hosts truly thought of everything - providing extra beach towels, snacks and toiletries. The hosts are also great communicators! We hope to return soon.

The house was great. Everything about it. It was clean with a great layout, plenty of room for everything you could need.

This beautiful single level home offers a stunning view of the water. The home is well-maintained and has a fabulous master bedroom with direct water views. There is ample parking and turn-around space, which is helpful as the house sits on a busy road. The layout is perfect, offering a huge living area and many windows to enjoy the water view. The hosts have thought of so many extras like beach towels, tea, sugar, cooking oil, toiletries, and even a welcome basket of snacks. It truly was a nice getaway where Mom and I could just rest and refresh. Jonathan and Misty are prompt in all communication responses and followed up to ensure we were comfortable. We will have to come back to this lovely home.

this house is so beautiful and quiet. it is off a main road but it is peaceful and beautiful views of the water. it only takes 5 minutes to get to the beach. the owners communicate well and answer quickly. you can wake up to views of the water and the sunsets while sitting on the dock are stunning. i would stay here again in a heart beat

This is a great home to stay at. My family and I enjoyed the great view and the close proximety to everything we needed during our trip. Not only was it clean and exactly what the pictures showed, but Jonathan and his wife have set up the house to make it feel like home as soon as you step in. Communication was also great. Jonathsn answered any questions I had right away. We would stay here again!

This place was wonderful! Everything that we could have expected and more. The beauty of the front yard on the water is hard to show in the photos. Staying here was really a treat! John was very nice, responsive, and all around a fantastic host. 5 stars all around.

This is an adorable little house. I say little, but it really is spacious and lovely! Well decorated with a very beachy feel. We stayed for a month, so we did end up buying a few extra things for the kitchen, but for a short stay everything you need is there. They even have the bathrooms stocked! Unfortunately for us, the boat was not working but Jon spent many hours getting it running- just not in time. And they installed the hot tub the last few days of our visit, but it looks like it’s in the perfect spot for relaxing! You won’t be disappointed if you book this sweet house!!

Wonderful beachfront views, sand dunes and your very own dock! We love staying here - great space for the location. Perfect for a small family or if traveling with parents. We visited during a winter storm and ate in every meal but one - very comfortable and low maintenance eating space and a clean environment all around. Great alternative to the crowded condos or hotels in the area. Lots of privacy while being tight on the water and close to Swansboro and Emerald Isle. A quick drive to the aquarium nearby (Pine Knoll Shores). Go!

This place was perfect for our family get away! We enjoyed being right on the water and having access to the dock as well as close to the beach and wonderful restaurants. The house was well stocked and loved that there was some child proofing already in place as well as toys, games, and even a highchair! There was a personalized welcome basket that was very inviting. It felt very private and peaceful, especially when sitting out in the yard swinging as the sunsets over the water. We caught plenty of fish, some right off the dock! We loved this place so much we already booked our next stay here as we were leaving.

Great, roomy house right on the water. We were able to watch the sunset from the back yard and the view of the night sky is fantastic out on the dock. Take a flashlight out there and shine it in the shallows when it's pitch black to see fish that you'd normally not see during the day. One possible issue for some may be the traffic noise. The house is located right next to a busy road which stays active late into the night. We were there on a Saturday which probably contributed to all the commotion. That said, the house being located on a major road made it easy for us to get to all the venues we planned to visit. The views, dock and wonderful, large house greatly outweighed the traffic noise. We had sound machines for sleeping so that wasn't a problem.

We were throughly impressed with the up dates and found the house to be extremely clean. The dock and the screened in porch were a huge bonus for us. The house was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate ( I thought the house was actually better than the pictures). Located close to all that the area has to offer. This is the perfect location and home and suited all of our family’s needs. It is sunny and open and clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful & the owners really have thought of everything.
